EventsFace-to-face internal communication within the Techneau project partners and dissimination of results to stakeholders and the drinking water community will take place through:
![]() Regional Technology PlatformsThe Regional Technology Platforms are the main vehicle for dissemination and consultation activities in TECHNEAU. The RTPs function as a platfrom for communication, consultation of stakeholders, dissemination, training activities and consortium meetings. RTPs will be organised 2 times per year throughout Europe and will make use of existing networks and local partners, represented in the TECHNEAU consortium. At the start of the project the Regional Technology Platforms will focus on consultation of stakeholders for additional input to the project and to create support among stakeholders. In a later stage RTPs will focus on dissemination of TECHNEAU results.

Techneau ConferenceThe TECHNEAU Conference on 'Safe Drinking Water From Source to Tap - State-of-the-Art and Perspectives' was held June 17 - 19 , 2009, in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The conference provided a leading podium for professionals concerned with drinking water challenges and adaptive strategies. TECHNEAU, in cooperation with other research programmes in Europe and beyond, presented state-of-the art and breakthroughs on water treatment technologies, sensors and monitoring and water systems simulation and operations.

About TechneauTECHNEAU, an integrated project funded by the European Comission, challenges the ability of traditional system and technology solutions for drinking water supply to cope with present and future global threats and opportunities.
